New Book from GRAND member Paula Harrison!



We are happy to announce that Paula Harrison, one of our members, has published a book this year - Superfoods for Women: 25 Amazing Foods that Help Women Live Healthier and Longer. The book focuses on 25 foods with proven health benefits, backed by nutrition research. Congratulations Paula! Here’s her bio and where you can purchase the book:

Paula Harrison, MS, RDN

Paula Harrison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, food and nutrition writer, and speaker, whose goal is to help people enjoy a plant-based diet, made up primarily of colorful whole foods that are tasty, satisfying, and health promoting. Paula holds a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Paula has taught nutrition classes for the past nineteen years. She was an Adjunct faculty instructor at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey and at John Tyler Community College in Midlothian, Virginia. She currently is the lead instructor for the Nutrition and Food Science certificate program at the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Paula also manages a farm in Cumberland County, Virginia.

Paula is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Vegetarian dietetic practice group, and GRAND, the Greater Richmond Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
